Connect Google Drive
The booth copies every photo, print, boomerang, GIF, guestbook page and voice message into a folder in your Google Drive. You can also drop your own backdrops and print frames (for example, exported from Canva) into that folder and import them on the admin page. It's free and runs in your own Google account.
- Open script.google.com, signed in to the Google account whose Drive should hold the photos (your personal Gmail).
- In the new project, select everything in Code.gs, delete it, and paste the script below. Click Save.
- In the toolbar, choose the function setup and click Run. Allow access when Google asks (choose your account, then Advanced → Go to project if it warns you, since it's your own script).
- Open the Execution log. Copy the SECRET line. The folder link opens your new "Instant Booth" folder.
- Click Deploy → New deployment. Gear icon → Web app. Execute as: Me. Who has access: Anyone. Click Deploy and copy the Web app URL (it ends in /exec).
- On the booth admin page, in the Google Drive card, paste the URL and the secret, click Save changes, then Test connection.
